Frequently Asked Questions

What Does My Total DDC Score Mean?

The higher your Total DDC Score (DISCOMFORTS/DYSFUNCTIONS Checklist Score) the more serious your Nervous Disorders are. If your Total DDC Score is 200 to 400 you have Moderate to Severe Problems that require Holistic (comprehensive multidisciplinary) treatment. A Total Score of 400 to 1000 (the maximum) indicates that you have many Severe Problems that require urgent Exploration, Holistic Treatment and Care. If with two or three Checklists in a row your Total Scores are less than 200, and no Groups of DISCOMFORTS/DYSFUNCTIONS have a maximum score of more than 30, you probably don’t have a problem that requires treatment.

What Will My DDC Report Tell Me?

Every time you do a Checklist our Program always puts your Highest Scoring Groups of DISCOMFORTS/DYSFUNCTIONS at the top of your Report. These are the Groups of DISCOMFORTS/DYSFUNCTIONS that have caused you the most trouble in the last week. You and your Healthcarers can simply look at the top of your Report and immediately know what your most important Mental Health Problems have been in the last week. That will tell you and your Healthcarers exactly where effective treatment will give you the fastest and greatest relief from suffering and the fastest and greatest improvement in function/ performance.

 What's Next?

If your Total DDC Score is above 200, or if the Score for any of your Groups of DISCOMFORTS/DYSFUNCTIONS is above 30, immediately start work on helping yourself. Make an appointment with your Doctor, Psychologist or Counsellor or with Dr Beck at The Family Neuro Health Centre when you can, but right now start reading as much as you can about your Highest Scoring Groups of DISCOMFORTS/DYSFUNCTIONS. Read The “Big 7” Mental Health Disorders Summary which you can download right now (Click here for your copy); do Google and Wikipedia searches using key words from the highest scoring parts of your DDC Report.

It is best for you to find a Doctor, Psychologist or Counsellor that you can consult with face to face, but if you can’t then email your latest Report and AUD $ 60 to DrNeilBeck@iinet.net.au. I will then assess your Report and advise you what more you can do to help yourself.

Each time you read and answer the Checklist questions you will understand Yourself and your Disorders better, so keep doing the Checklists. The first Checklist is free and you can start immediately (just click here). We have kept the fees as low as possible to enable you to continue to do plenty of Checklists. That will cost you only a fraction of what other Healthcare methods cost. You can then either E-mail copies of your Report to your Healthcarers when you do a Checklist, or give them a copy of your latest DDC Report at your appointments. Doing this will save you suffering, time and money.

How Often Should I Do The Checklist?

If your Total Score on your first attempt is under 200, you do not need to do another Checklist unless you are feeling unwell again. If you are under a treatment plan, The Beck DDC is a great progress tracking tool and you are recommended to do it once a week to keep track of your progress and the effectiveness of your treatment. The Beck DDCs are designed to not only diagnose your problem, but keep track of yourperformance with scores and graphs so you can see clearly which areas you need to focus or re-focus your treatment on. Aim to get the Total Score to below 200.

Do I Have To Pay To Do The Checklists?

All new members automatically receives ONE credit, which allows you to perform one Checklist for FREE. If you wish to purchase more credits to do more Checklists, subsequent credits are $1.99 USD for 1 credit, US$6.99 for 4 credits, $12.99 for 8 credits and $29.99 for 20 credits. If you are on a treatment plan and wish to use The Beck DDC system to track your performance, we recommend that you purchase credits in bulk as it is much more cost effective.
